Chief Strategy Officer,
Joseph is the Chief Strategy Officer of Ogilvy Beijing. He is a bilingual and multi-cultural business leader with China and global experience in Corporate Strategy, Customer & Market Strategy, and Digital Transformation in various industries, including consumer goods, travel & leisure, retail, automotive, financial industry, and TMT. Joseph is experienced in driving top line growth through business strategy articulation and target market prioritization. Joseph is particularly passionate about designing valuable customer experience and impactful customer engagement through customer journey articulation and touch-point optimization. Joseph also leads a large team with diverse expertise ranging from Brand, Engagement, UX, Data & Insights, and Social.
Prior to joining Ogilvy, Joseph worked at a management consulting firm, where he served as the Customer & Market Strategy Offering Leader, responsible for leading business pursuits, delivering client engagements, and managing knowledge and trainings in this area. Joseph enjoyed working with C-Suite clients on solving business problems, such as go-to-market strategy, branding & marketing strategy, customer experience & CRM, omni-channel / digital strategy, and business transformation.
Joseph has a Master’s Degree in Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) from Northwestern University in Chicago. Joseph is a native of Taiwan, fluent in Mandarin and English. He is a frequent speaker at Consumer and Digital conferences, and the author of several publications.
In his spare time, Joseph enjoys appreciating good storytelling – either from movies, novels, animations, or even music. A relaxing vacation for Joseph is sitting on a Hawaiian beach with a thriller novel in hand while jazz from the 1920’ play in the background.
